In 1991, Velocity introduced the very first aluminum rim, the Aero. 33 years later in 2024, they recreated an updated version featuring all the design enhancements developed along the way.

The new Aero is a 28mm wide tubeless-compatible clincher built for 28-53mm tires, utilizing a new and stronger advanced 6069 aluminum alloy that offers improved resistance to denting and fatigue damage.

Riders who are tough on wheels will enjoy greater impact resistance, and those who pile on miles can expect a longer service life compared to traditional 6061 or 6063 alloy.

Available in 28h & 32h drillings.

These rims do not have a reinforced braking surface and are not compatible with rim brakes.
