The Fizik Tempo Aliante R5 is a comfortable, resilient endurance cycling saddle, designed with a waved profile and engineered to provide lasting comfort on even the longest bike journeys.

First launched over two decades ago, Fizik's Tempo Aliante took the cycling world by storm  with its innovative design that prioritized rider comfort - so much so that it was even nicknamed "le sofa" in France - and it has been supporting long-distance cyclists ever since.

Having a slightly wider platform to support the ischial bones, it improves stability and weight distribution for all-day rides. With a focus on comfort, the Aliante has a flatter surface to allow for more evenly spread pressure and a balanced feel, especially useful on extended endurance rides and an ergonomic cutout, developed using detailed analysis and input from medical experts, helps to relieve pressure and facilitate blood flow.

The Aliante R5 utilizes S-Alloy hollow rails, dual, density foam padding, a carbon reinforced nylon shell and Wing Flex technology, which allows the shell's side edges flex and adapt to the rider's inner leg movement for more efficient pedaling and full-range of motion regardless of the rider's position along the saddle.
